Bow Hunts
We
have operated a full service hunting business since 1986. 2009 will be our 24th season and the 20th year of offering heart pounding, world-class trophy bow hunts. We have not had gun hunting on our premier guided property since 1994. This has resulted in the development of a true trophy area. Over 46 bucks in the last six years have scored high enough to make book. The largest buck taken to date scored a net of 212 3/8 P&Y and B&C.
We have managed our property for trophies for the past 19 years and seeing is the only way you will be able to believe the quality and quantity of trophies available. This is not a fenced hunting area. We have had as many as 26 different bucks sighted in just two days.
THIS IS A TROPHY HUNT! We do have a minimum on our bucks of 120". This allows every buck born to become a 2-1/2 year old before he can be taken. That is why everyone is seeing trophy bucks and having an opportunity to get a "wall-hanger".
Each hunter will have fresh stand sites at his disposal, which are moved after their use (we have over 100 portable stands). Each guide is assigned an area that he uses the entire season. Hunters are then assigned to that guide. Facilities include units housing 3 - 4 hunters, with a bath; an archery range; a walk in cooler and freezer.
All hunts are "fair chase" on private property. We will do our very best to help you have a memorable hunt, and a chance to get a buck of a life-time. But, it is up to you to put forth the effort, time in the stand, and to maintain your composure for the shot, when it presents itself. If you are really serious about getting a trophy for your wall, then we are at the top of the list when it comes to opportunities, quality and quantity of mature bucks.
