Self-Guided Hunts

We have worked hard to develop a truly Big Buck Haven since 1986. Our doe to buck ratio is approximately 3 to 1. The herd is estimated at 70 per square mile. 2006 will be our 17th year of offering heart pounding, world class trophy bow hunts in the most productive trophy white-tail spot in the nation. We pride ourselves on providing a superior service for the dedicated hunter who wants a realistic opportunity to bag a true trophy class buck.

SELF-GUIDED HUNTS:
This hunt is designed for hunters who pride themselves on their ability to scout and harvest a trophy by using their own skills. The terrain is rolling with many draws and ridges. Elevation differences vary from 40 to 120 feet.

We do have a management fee of $250.00 on any buck taken scoring less than 120" Pope & Young (this includes "button bucks"). Anyone taking a doe will be able to deduct $100.00 off their next hunt if they re-book. All hunters are assigned their own area. In addition to having one stand set for each hunter, we give an orientation of your area, suggesting the best places to set your stands. Your guide (adviser) will also be available to offer advise and answer questions.

All hunts require a 25% deposit with your reservation. The next 25% will be due approximately three months after booking. Hunts include lodging.
